Nails

Our nails can give many clues as to the general state of our health. For dry, brittle nails rub Almond Oil or Neem Oil onto the nail and avoid very hot, soapy water. If you have a diet low in iron or zinc consider a Vitamin and Mineral Supplement such as Floradix as well as Extra Zinc. Most of us tend to be deficient in dietary essential fatty acids (EFAs) and this may reflect in poor nail condition. High Potency Fish Oil, Flax Seed Oil, or Essential Balance Oil are all excellent EFA supplements.

Unsurprisingly a wholefood diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables is to be recommended for maintaining good all-round health and this will reflect in the condition of the nails and hair.
