At Hambly's we have put together a basic First Aid Kit that includes: Anti-septic Spray for cuts and grazes, Healing Cream for cuts, bruises, sprains and burns, Lavender Essential Oil for burns, and Bite Mix for insect bites and wasp and jellyfish stings.
Other products you might like to include in your home first aid kit include: Witch Hazel Water or Arnica Cream externally and Homeopathic Arnica internally for bruises and sprains. Calendula Tincture, Calendula Cream and Calendula Ointment can all be used externally for fungal infections and the cream and ointment in particular make a wonderfully soothing treatment for all kinds of skin inflammation, from eczema to insect bites. Strong Anti-septic Spray and Tea Tree & Myrrh Cream are perfect for fungal infections, while Tea Tree Cream and Tea Tree Essential oil are powerful antiseptics for treating cuts, spots etc. Stubborn splinters and boils can be dealt with using our Drawing Cream. Aloe Gel is an easy and effective first aid treatment for burns, especially if used in conjunction with Lavender Essential Oil. Our Aftersun Gel as you might expect is especially formulated for soothing, moisturising and protecting the skin after sun-exposure. For troublesome insects use Feverfew internally as an insect repellent, plus Neem Insect Spray to use alongside it in especially bug-infested places. Clove Essential oil is ideal for toothache being both anaesthetic and anti-bacterial. For physical or emotional trauma (after an accident or on receiving bad news) the Bach Five Flower Remedy (Rescue Remedy) is very effective. Finally, Biokult is the best pro-biotic formula we have come across and as it doesn't require refrigeration (even after opening) it makes an ideal addition to the first aid kit for use after a stomach bug.
