For minor burns first of all put the burnt area under cold water and keep it there for a few minutes. Your herbalist will able to recommend what to use herbally. Radiation burns should never be treated with fat-based creams or lotions. NB While mild thermal and radiation burns can be treated using herbal medicines, if the burns are severe or extensive, or if the patient is in shock, you must seek hospital treatment immediately. Chemical and electrical burns should always be referred immediately to A & E.
