I have been practising as a full time qualified Massage Therapist in East Sussex and Kent
since 1989, with regular clinics at Hambly’s since it’s inception.
I also hold regular clinics at The Mackintosh Rooms, Beacon Medical Centre,
Crowborough.
Clients come from a wide range of (adult) age groups on recommendation from clients,
practitioners and GP’s.
I was fortunate to do my original training with Clare Maxwell – Hudson at her School of
Massage in London, with post graduate courses there in Sports Massage, Vodder Manual
Lymph Drainage and Muscle Energising techniques for the face. Subsequent studies
elsewhere have included:
• Upledger Institute Craniosacral therapy 1 and 2
• Indian Head Massage,
• Hot Stone Massage
• Tsuboki Face Massage
• Dr Haushka Treatments
• Reiki
• Coaching Academy Personal Performance Coaching Programme
I enjoy working with Kirsten Germann on a programme combining facial acupuncture
with my signature facial treatments.
My initial fascination and interest in Massage Therapy and its many related disciplines has
never waned, I continue to love my work, to explore around the core practice of
massage whilst deepening my understanding and developing my skills.
I enjoy working with a wide range of clients and conditions, in particular, soft tissue
problems of the shoulder and neck.
The combination of remedial and relaxing massage is a favourite with my clients as are
the Hot Stones-large, smooth, elemental and soothing, I love working with them.
Since 2010 I have been studying with the College of Sound Healing towards a
Practitioner qualification in Gong Sound Therapy, using magnificent hand made Paiste
gongs. Private and group Gong Sound Therapy will be available from October 2011.
An active member of SGI-UK since 1995 I help to support local members and talk about
the practice and work of the SGI.
